Obesity and ED Support

Developing this support has been a bit of a mission for me.  Having lived experience of trauma and disordered eating, there have been many years of struggle in my own past.  Frustrated at a world which judges and a lack of support and options, my passion has been to reach those who feel no-one cares or 'gets it'.

Sick of hearing it is just a matter of 'cals in/energy out', I have continued to develop my learning as an Accredited CBT Therapist and Trainer and want to be a part of the 'change'.

My lived experience and experience of working with individuals for many years as a CBT therapist working with adults and young people, it is clear that something more is needed, something more meaningful, something which explores the many complex aspects of eating, emotions, weight and body issues.

Methods of Support

  • Individual and Small Group Work

  • Face to Face or Online

We are not in the business of 'one size fits all' approach therefore we can work out what approach might be best as you start working on your wellness.  Some folks find that a one to one approach suits, or they want to learn from others in a group.  There is flexibility to work out what works best for you.  The format will be a blend of psychoeducation, therapy, group discussion and the opportunity to build connection to others more informally if that is of interest.

Building Connection

There will be the opportunity to connect with others through group workshops and through informal drop in sessions.  Again, you will be making decisions about what might work for you, knowing you can review and adapt your plan and your add to your resources as you move forward.
